Gene editing applications range from disease interventions to gene and cell therapies for cancer. Worldwide efforts are ongoing to accelerate the translation to clinical application and intervention of this strategy. In this educational workshop, renowned experts in the field will present the theoretical basis of gene editing and practical examples in the context of different pathological models. Moreover, existing hurdles and the design of successful gene editing experiments will be discussed. The workshop will also include a practical demonstration of experimental flow and advanced platforms utilized for gene editing, providing the attendees with the opportunity for a live experimental experience. 1) Theoretical course, morning session, 15 November 8:00 am-12:40 pm: Sidra Medicine Auditorium 2) Practical Course, November 15 from 14:00- 17:00 pm and 16 November 8:00 am-13:00pm: Research Department, Sidra Medicine
