In the highlight of the Health Literacy Month (October), the Patient Education and Health Promotion (PEHP) division at Sidra Medicine is planning the 2nd Health Literacy Conference which will be held on Monday, 31 October 2022.
The conference will take place at Sidra Medicine’s Auditorium and will have CPD points. In addition, there will be two accredited workshops associated with the conference on 24th and 26th, October 2022. The theme for this year is “Health Literacy- Engaging Patients and Families for Better Health Outcomes”. The aim is to highlight and reinforce on the important of patients and family engagement and how it impacts their health outcomes.
