From 2016 and now on its 6th year, Sidra Medicine’s Gastroenterology/Hepatology/Nutrition Division allocates one day each year to discuss gastrointestinal problems that are commonly seen in the primary care and secondary care facility in Qatar with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals to raise the awareness of these problems and provide a discussion about best practice in approaching patients suspected to have any of these gastrointestinal problems. Since its initial offering in 2016 this event is well attended by healthcare professionals. For the October 27, 2021 blended session (live at the Sidra Auditorium and live streamed via MS teams) over 200 participants registered and attended, 57% of which were physicians and residents, 39% were nurses and the rest are from allied health and pharmacy. This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity Category 1 as defined by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners- Accreditation Department (QCHP-AD) and is approved for a maximum of 6.75 hour/s
